Letters: Prague Remembered
To the Editor: Nicholas Kulish’s Footsteps column, “Milan Kundera’s Prague: Trumping the Unbearable Darkness of History” (March 30), reminded me of my visit to Prague in February 1966. The only light piercing the somber surroundings was a beam from the open passenger door of a Cubana airliner where two female flight attendants were swaying to mambo rhythms.
